The Promises of God
"Be strong and courageous, do not be
afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you.
He will not fail you or forsake you. The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you;
He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear, or be
dismayed." (Deut 31:6.8)
Even
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for
Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. (Ps 23:4)
For I am convinced that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor
any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:38-39)
No
temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful,
who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the
temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure
it. (1 Cor
He is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond
all that we ask or think. (Eph 3:20)
"Come to Me, all
who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy,
and My load is light." (Matt 11:28-30)
When
I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be
afraid. What can mere man do to me? (Ps 56:3-4)
What then shall we say to these things? If God
is for us, who is against us? He who did
not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also
with Him freely give us all things? (Rom 8:31-32)
And
He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any
death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first
things have passed away." (Rev 21:4)
Many
are the afflictions of the righteous; but the LORD delivers him out of them
all. (Ps 34:19)
and being fully
assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. (Rom
And Jesus said to him,"' If You can!'
All things are possible to him who believes." (Mark
The LORD is my shepherd, I
shall not want. (Ps 23:1)
I have been young, and now
I am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his descendants
begging bread. (Ps 37:25)
"The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, because
he trusts in Thee. Trust in the LORD forever, for in GOD the LORD, {we have} an
everlasting Rock. (Isa 26:3-4)
Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will
mount up {with} wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will
walk and not become weary. (Isa 40:31)
"It will also come to pass that before they call, I will
answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. (Isa 65:24)
"For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37)
Be anxious for nothing, but
in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)
And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in
glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:19)
Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace,
that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. (Heb
4:16)
Precious in the sight of
the LORD is the death of His godly ones. (Psalms 116:15)
